The Magician Explained

The magician is one of my favorite tarot cards, and the magician is a role that it is important for every man to play at some point in their life. The magician is a very resourceful character, and the magician has an air of regal authority. The magician has an absolute power; he is the controller of everything. He is all powerful, knowledgeable, and can surely produce magic and miracles.

This card again reflects that you must look inward, and see your own strength and ability. You may not think so, but you know who you are and what you want. You must state these things clearly and bluntly. Do not sugar coat your feelings, dreams, or beliefs, and do not sacrifice yourself for others beliefs of who you are. You choose who you are every day. Do not let anyone or anything choose for you.

The magician also shows your ability to get what you need and want out of life. Man is by nature fully capable of achieving his dreams and goals. This card suggests that you must take action; conjure up some magic in your own life and make your dreams come true. It should be remembered that this is not magic based on illusion. This magic is real; it is coming from the basic faculties that all people are endowed with.

Another idea suggested by this card is the power of infinite possibilities. To recognize that the possible outcomes are endless is to come to an amazing understanding and commune with the world. If you can realize that you are able to do whatever it is you want you can begin to make magic. You can pull the rabbit out of the empty hat.

Take action; do not let your own doubts of your abilities stop you. This card reminds us that we are filled with knowledge, and we only need to recognize this to be able to take advantage of it. But do not allow yourself to believe that faith in your abilities will get you what you want. You also have to go out and get it. You have to take your skills and apply them.
